  1. 1. Är pendeltågens stopp för långa : - En studie av Stockholms pendeltågs uppehållstider .

    Kandidat-uppsats, KTH/Transportplanering

    Författare :JONAS KENNERÖ; [2023]
    Nyckelord :: dwell time; commuter trains; Stockholm Odenplan; Årstaberg; platform doors; train conductor; delays; short trains; rush hour; behavior of travelers; observational study; linear regression.;

    Sammanfattning : An important aspect during the planning of commuter trains is how long they will be waiting at the platform. All travelers must be able to board and get off the train in time while the process cannot take too long. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Simulation of road traffic flow in Hangzhou

    Kandidat-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Institutionen för elektro- och informationsteknik

    Författare :Louise Brandt; Anders Holmberg; [2022]

    Sammanfattning : Is it possible to increase traffic flows and decrease stand stills in rush hour traffic by tweaking existing traffic light signals? A vehicle’s engine running on idle is not useful in physical terms and emits unnecessary exhausts. By investigating and observing signal phase times on site in Hangzhou, China, an effort was made to find out if it was possible to get better flow and thus lower emissions by changing the traffic signal programs. 3. 3. Modeling rush hour vehicular traffic using a machine learning approach

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Matematik LTH

    Författare :Erik Ackzell; [2022]
    Nyckelord :convolutional neural networks; traffic modeling; Mathematics and Statistics;

    Sammanfattning : In this thesis, a convolutional neural network is used to model the behaviour of individual vehicles on a stretch of the U.S. 101 highway during rush hour. This model is then extended to model the collective behaviour of all vehicles on the stretch of road and a 15 minute simulation is carried out. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Gribov ambiguities in non-Abelian gauge theories

    Kandidat-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Teoretisk partikelfysik - Geonomgår omorganisation

    Författare :Fredrik Granström; [2021]
    Nyckelord :Physics and Astronomy;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis investigates the quantization of field theories using the functional integral formalism. Gauge invariance necessitates a gauge-fixing procedure that chooses a unique field configuration from each gauge orbit. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Roslagsbanan: A capacity comparison between the current ATC system and the implementation of a CBTC system

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Transportplanering

    Författare :Chrysostomos Sofroniou; [2021]
    Nyckelord :Roslagsbanan; CBTC; moving block; fixed block; safe braking curve; capacity; Roslagsbanan; CBTC; rörligt block; fast block; säker bromskurva; kapacitet;

    Sammanfattning : Communications-based train control (CBTC) aims to improve headways in the railway systems while maintaining or even improving safety. By means of the CBTC systems, the exact position of a train is known more accurately than the traditional signalling systems. LÄS MER
