  1. 1. SOUNDMAT : A Sonic and Kinesthetic Tool for Architects

    Magister-uppsats, Malmö universitet/Institutionen för konst, kultur och kommunikation (K3)

    Författare :Maria Nikoli; [2021]
    Nyckelord :sonic; sound; kinesthetic; kinesthesia; interactive; tool; physical computing; architecture; architects; embodied; interaction; multi-sensory; sensory;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis project aims to bring together knowledge and methods from embodied interaction design in order to help architects expand their current repertoire of sketching tools and methods. As argued by Bernard Tschumi (1996) and Juhani Pallasmaa (2012), architecture is a sight-dominated design field, and architects are faced with the paradox of having to design embodied, multisensory experiences with visual means and from a disembodied perspective. 2. 2. Requirements Engineering and Response Time : A study about the Requirements Engineering and the Response Time of a Highly Interactive Web-based Application.

    Master-uppsats, Karlstads universitet/Handelshögskolan (from 2013)

    Författare :Faisal Ibrahim Bacha; [2021]
    Nyckelord :system requirements engineering; functional requirements; performance; response time; interactivity; quality attributes; availability; reliability; Web based application.;

    Sammanfattning : Low response time is an important factor for any interactive system. However, web-based applications suffer sometimes from bad response times. This fact is not always important but for services depending on a  high degree of interactivity it can be severe. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Designing experiences for virtual reality, in virtual reality : A design process evaluation

    Master-uppsats, Umeå universitet/Institutionen för tillämpad fysik och elektronik

    Författare :David Bergvik; [2017]
    Nyckelord :Virtual Reality; VR; Unity; Experience Design; user experience UX ; user interface UI ; interaction design IxD ; graphical user interface GUI ; design; usability; human-computer interaction HCI ; HTC Vive; Google Daydream; evaluation; North Kingdom;

    Sammanfattning : Creating immersive experiences for virtual reality (VR) presents new design opportunities and challenges that do not appear when creating experiences on a screen. Creating prototypes and exploring concepts in VR is today limited to professionals with previous knowledge in 3D application development, and testing 3D experiences requires the usage of an Head-Mounted Display (HMD), which forces professionals to switch medium from the computer to an HMD. 4. 4. Designing a Voice Controlled Interface For Radio : Guidelines for The First Generation of Voice Controlled Public Radio

    Master-uppsats, Umeå universitet/Institutionen för tillämpad fysik och elektronik

    Författare :Anna Päärni; [2017]
    Nyckelord :UX; radio; voice-control; SR; interaction; public service; ID; voice; audio; IPA; Alexa;

    Sammanfattning : From being a fictional element in sci-fi, voice control has become a reality, with inventions such as Apple's Siri, and interactive voice response (IVR) when calling your doctor's office. The combination of radio’s strength as a hands-free medium, public radio’s mission to reach across all platforms and the rise of voice makes up a relevant intersection; voice controlled public radio in Sweden. 5. 5. Implementing a Wizard of Oz Tool for Augmented Reality

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Institutionen för designvetenskaper; Lunds universitet/Ergonomi och aerosolteknologi

    Författare :Per Sörbris; Mikael Möller; [2012]
    Nyckelord :Augmented Reality; Head Mounted Displays; Wizard of Oz testing; Android; Technology and Engineering;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis aims to explore Wizard of Oz testing in conjunction with Augmented Reality (AR) and focus has been put on testing AR with Head Mounted Displays. The recent increase of interest in HMDs with products such as MOD Live from Recon Instruments and Google's Project Glass puts new demands and possibilities on human-computer interaction. LÄS MER
