1. On the road to grid stability - Using batteries in heavy vehicles and charging infrastructure as frequency reserves
Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/ProduktionsekonomiSammanfattning : Background: Climate change and increasing threats that come with it fosters a need for changing from fossil sources of energy to renewable ones. Sweden aims to have net zero greenhouse gas emissions by the year of 2045. One of the sectors that need to take part in this shift towards fossil free energy is the transport industry. LÄS MER
2. Människan först för en hållbar stad : Bryta bilen som norm för att välja gång och cykel
Kandidat-uppsats, Högskolan Dalarna/SamhällsbyggnadsteknikSammanfattning : Since the 1950s, private car use in Sweden has grown rapidly. 4. “We may want the transition, but we don’t actually want the transition” : a discourse analysis of Swedish policies to incentivise charging infrastructure development for electric vehicles
Master-uppsats, SLU/Dept. of Urban and Rural DevelopmentSammanfattning : As Swedish government aims for the transition to a fossil fuel-free transport sector by 2030, it becomes clear that the electrification of the fleet is one of the biggest ambitions to achieve that goal. The process is hindered by various factors and one of them is the development of charging infrastructure which has been proven a bottleneck in the transition to a fossil free passenger car fleet. 5. Extension of low voltage distribution by pure DC or mixed AC/DC parts for integration of solar PV and EV charging
Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)Sammanfattning : This work examines the local distribution system in two residential areas in two Swedish towns, Oxelösund and Karlskrona, and studies how integration of PV systems and electric vehicle (EV) charging stations (CS) will affect the present distribution system. The research questions focus on the economic feasibility of a LVDC system, how it compares to a traditional LVAC (low voltage alternating current) system from an economic and technical perspective, and the possibilities a LVDC system brings to other DC component applications.
