   Sammanfattning : There have been many different studies done around the subject of Extramural English, where researchers Sundqvist and Sylvén (2012) have drawn the conclusion that there is a correlation between video games and learners of English improving upon their English vocabulary.    Sammanfattning : Syftet med föreliggande studie är att bidra med kunskap om sent anlända gymnasieungdomars erfarenhet av sin introducerande utbildning i Sverige och undersöka vilka faktorer de själva lyfter fram som avgörande för deras framgångar. Vi har med hjälp av narrativt inriktade intervjuer undersökt 10 ungdomars erfarenheter av mötet med det svenska skolsystemet, hur de mottogs på introduktionsutbildningen och hur de på kort tid lyckades genomföra studierna och ta sig vidare in på ett nationellt gymnasieprogram.
