  1. 1. Measuring the Utility of Synthetic Data : An Empirical Evaluation of Population Fidelity Measures as Indicators of Synthetic Data Utility in Classification Tasks

    Master-uppsats, Karlstads universitet/Institutionen för matematik och datavetenskap (from 2013)

    Författare :Alexander Florean; [2024]
    Nyckelord :Synthetic Data; Machine Learning; Population Fidelity Measures; Utility Metrics; Synthetic Data Quality Evaluation; Classification Algorithms; Utility Estimation; Data Privacy; Artificial Intelligence; Experiment Framework; Model Performance Assessment; Syntetisk Data; Maskininlärning; Population Fidelity Mätvärden; Användbarhetsmätvärden; Kvalitetsutvärdering av Syntetisk Data; Klassificeringsalgoritmer; Användbarhetsutvärdering; Dataintegritet; Artificiell Intelligens; AI; Experiment Ramverk; Utvärdering av Modellprestanda;

    Sammanfattning : In the era of data-driven decision-making and innovation, synthetic data serves as a promising tool that bridges the need for vast datasets in machine learning (ML) and the imperative necessity of data privacy. By simulating real-world data while preserving privacy, synthetic data generators have become more prevalent instruments in AI and ML development. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Re-design and usability improvement of Arvue : an AR application displaying house models in their real context

    Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Umeå universitet/Institutionen för tillämpad fysik och elektronik

    Författare :Maja Edström; [2024]
    Nyckelord :UX; Interaction Design; Usability; Augmented Reality; AR; UX; Interaktionsdesign; Användarvänlighet; Augmented Reality; AR;

    Sammanfattning : Building your own house may be the biggest decision and greatest investment of your life, which calls for an informed decision regarding the house design. However, two-dimensional drawings may lack external context and might, for untrained eyes, not communicate how the house will look on its intended site. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Detection and Analysis of Anomalies in Tactical Sensor Systems through Structured Hypothesis Testing

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Författare :Fredrik Ohlson; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Tactical sensor systems; Sensor fusion; Model based diagnostics; Hypothesis testing; Taktiska sensor system; Sensor fusion; Modellbaserad diagnostisering; Hypotesprövning;

    Sammanfattning : The project explores the domain of tactical sensor systems, focusing on SAAB Gripen’s sensor technologies such as radar, RWR (Radar Warning Receiver), and IRST (InfraRed Search and Track). The study employs structured hypothesis testing and model based diagnostics to examine the effectiveness of identifying and isolating deviations within these systems. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Machine Learning for State Estimation in Fighter Aircraft

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Optimeringslära och systemteori

    Författare :Axel Boivie; [2023]
    Nyckelord :State estimation; machine learning; fighter aircraft; neural networks; long short- term memory; LSTM; sensor fusion; air data system; ADS.; Tillståndsestimering; maskininlärning; stridsflygplan; neurala nätverk; sensorfusion; luftdatasystem.;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis presents an estimator to assist or replace a fighter aircraft’s air datasystem (ADS). The estimator is based on machine learning and LSTM neuralnetworks and uses the statistical correlation between states to estimate the angleof attack, angle of sideslip and Mach number using only the internal sensorsof the aircraft. 5. 5. An Evaluation of Artificial Neural Networks as an alternative to Example-Based Crowd Simulation

    Kandidat-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Författare :Malte Blomqvist; Morris Hansing; [2023]
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : In the ever-developing field of crowd simulation several different algorithms have been proposed to enable data-driven simulations: methods using real-life data to generate realistic pedestrian movements. With different use-cases and trade-offs it is vital to understand the particulars of each approach. LÄS MER
