The purpose is to understand what influences the perception of two diverse age groups of licensed practical nurses occupational status, bringing nuance to the phenomenon, thus understanding demands for future employment, shortage of labour and staff turnover in the Swedish home-care business. 5. At the limits of moral markets : Corroborating the critique of the labor market as a sphere of social freedom

And will the labor market of the future live up to what we expect from it? This study examines how a political philosophy of Hegelian inspiration helps us understand the conditions by which the labor market could be capable of providing for what Axel Honneth refers to as ’social freedom’.
