  1. 1. Quantum Optical Description of High-order Harmonic Generation

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Atomfysik; Lunds universitet/Fysiska institutionen

    Författare :Isabel Moreno; [2024]
    Nyckelord :Physics and Astronomy;

    Sammanfattning : High-order Harmonic Generation (HHG) is a highly non-linear process in which an atom interacts with a strong laser field. The laser field lowers the atomic potential barrier allowing bound electrons to escape into the continuum through tunnel ionization, propagate, and, with some probability, recombine with the parent ion. 2. 2. The ESG Advantage: Exploring the Relationship Between Sustainability and Corporate Acquisitions

    D-uppsats, Handelshögskolan i Stockholm/Institutionen för finansiell ekonomi

    Författare :Alice Rosberg Kronholm; Ebba Glenngård; [2023]
    Nyckelord :ESG; M A; Bid Premium;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis investigates the impact of ESG scores on corporate acquisitions in Europe and the United States, examining whether firms with ESG scores are more likely to be acquired, and to which extent the ESG score of a target firm may affect the bid premium. Findings suggest that firms with an ESG score are more likely to be acquired compared to firms without, and that a high score implies a lower probability of being acquired compared to a low score. 3. 3. Proactive Decarbonization in Projects - At What Price? : A Qualitative Study of Life-cycle Cost Analysis and Shadow Pricing of Carbon as Decision-making Tools

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Ledning och organisering i byggande och förvaltning

    Författare :Anna Edorson; [2023]
    Nyckelord : Life-cycle Cost Analysis ; Shadow Pricing of Carbon ; Sustainability ; Climate Targets ; Decision-making ; Project Management ; Livscykelkostnadsanalys ; Skuggpris på koldioxid ; Hållbarhet ; Klimatmål ; Beslutsfattande ; Projektledning ;

    Sammanfattning : As we move towards a low-carbon economy, environmental sustainability drives corporate performance and strategy to a greater extent than a decade ago. Hence, there is a growing importance among actors with long-term ownership interests to recognize climate-related issues in investment decisions. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Community Continuity Management : An Exploration of the Energy Production and Use of a Fictional Stockholm Neighbourhood in a Crisis

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Urbana och regionala studier

    Författare :Nils Brattgård; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Business Continuity Management; Community Continuity Management; Energy Community; Energy Resilience; Energy; Resilience; Preparedness; Adaptation; Wellness; Wellbeing; Blackout; Power Failure; High Impact Low Probability; Crisis; Disaster; Kontinuitetshantering; Community Continuity Management; Energigemenskap; Energiresiliens; Energi; Resiliens; Beredskap; Anpassning; Välmående; Välbefinnande; Strömavbrott; Elkris; High Impact Low Probability; Kris; Katastrof;

    Sammanfattning : In an increasingly interconnected, and electricity-reliant world, households are asked to build up their resilience to crises. Local, distributed electricity production within a microgrid with capability to operate disconnected from the larger grid has been shown to be an effective tool for increasing power system resilience in the past. 5. 5. Resilient Horizons: Identifying and Overcoming Disruptions in the Semiconductor Supply Chain : From Chip Woes to Chip Wows: Establishing Resilience Strategies in a World of Semiconductors

    Master-uppsats, Linköpings universitet/Logistik- och kvalitetsutveckling

    Författare :Clara Hallin; Marcus Höök; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Resilience; Strategy; Disruption; Semiconductor; Supply Chain;

    Sammanfattning : Disruptions such as pandemics, demand changes, and geopolitical tensions in the semiconductor supply chain are essential due to their significant impact on all industries and economies worldwide. The semiconductor industry is vital for modern technology, but disruptions can interfere with production and availability. LÄS MER
