   Sammanfattning : This study takes on a descriptive quantitative content analysis as means to investigate how the Swedish media covered and depicted the Special European council session between 17th to 21st of July 2020. Based on Agenda Setting and News Framing theories, the study investigated three aspects of the meeting's news coverage: (1) The overall interest and focus put on the meeting, (2) the interest and focus put on individual issues pertaining to the meeting, and (3) the Swedish News Framing of the meeting. För att kunna genomföra en Retorisk Arena-analys på materialet inkluderades även enskilda kommentarer kring varje artikel som publicerats via sociala medier där syftet var att få fram hur debatten, diskussionen och den retoriska arenan fungerat.    Sammanfattning : The purpose of the study was to examine if there been a change of attitude in sports journalism in the reporting on supporter-related issues in Swedish elite football after the new police method that was applied in 2019, called the terms stair. We have analyzed the differences between two football seasons, 2018 and 2019, with a quantitative content analysis on Sportbladet and Sportexpressen, which is the two biggest papers when it comes to sport.
