    Sammanfattning : This essay explores how and why the memory of the Baltic extradition in 1946 has been shaped and used in relation to the social democratic Swedish identity, trough the theory of cultural history.     Sammanfattning : Diese Analyse von Martin Jankowskis Roman Rabet oder Das Verschwinden einer Himmelsrichtung untersucht die Konstruktion einer literarischen Fiktion, die durch die dokumentarische Schilderung der friedlichen Revolution in Leipzig 1989 einen korrigierenden Beitrag zum Erinnerungsdiskurs leistet. It will be shown how three Swedish authors discussed this polemic and controversial philosopher, and how their way to discuss, and their thoughts about Thorild would in a way set the frames of a memory culture.     Sammanfattning : This dissertation explores the relationship between remembrance and citizen humanities. Combining the study of three qualitative empirical sources (an explorative comparison of five citizen humanities projects, an autonetnography conducted in one of the projects and the observation and analysis of the interaction of the online community in said project) the epistemic culture in citizen humanities and how remembrance is enacted in this context are addressed.
