    Sammanfattning : This master thesis examines firstly what competence a furniture maker in Stockholm, Sweden during the period 1751 – 1782 required to make a master piece. This is done through a literature study, archive research and research on preserved master pieces. I analyse and generate a base of material knowledge, period tools, construction and techniques.
