Kombinationen av högintensivt arbete och fotbollsspecifika inslag har i studier visats erbjuda ett konditionsmässigt likvärdigt men mer fotbollsspecifikt träningsupplägg jämfört med ett upplägg präglat av löpträning utan boll.
