    Sammanfattning : This thesis is a study of the moral, medical, and socioeconomic arguments in favor of a racial hygienic sterilization legislation carried out in conservative, social democratic and socialist newspapers in Denmark from 1911-1923. Denna studie undersöker den senaste rapporten svenska staten har skickat till CERD från år 2023 för att förstå vilka begrepp som framträder i rapporten i beskrivningar av arbetet mot diskriminering på grund av ras.     Sammanfattning : The dominant narrative of history, prevalent in Sweden, is of a country which has no structural racism and that had no part in the colonization of the Americas or in the transatlantic slave trade. This is far from the truth, and this study connects Sweden’s role in the slave trade and as a country with colonial ambitions, as well as its history of racial biology, with the racialization of non-white bodies.
