    Sammanfattning : This study seeks to describe to what extent, and how, the writer has been present in articles within the cultural sections of Swedish daily newspapers Dagens Nyheter (DN) and Svenska Dagbladet (SvD) from 1997 to 2022. Although the research is limited, there are a few studies who can show that there is a distancing of students towards school counselors and students seeking help, but there also seems to be a lack of direction that makes school counselors work tasks to appear unclear.
