1. Human and Robot Narrator: How Gestures Affect Comprehension and Recollection
Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/KognitionsvetenskapSammanfattning : This thesis investigated if a human or a robot narrator affected listeners’ comprehension and memory recollection similarly in a narrative story. 103 participants (MeanAge = 35) were recruited to an online experiment to investigate if gestures affected the participants’ narrative comprehension and recollection more than a narrator that did not produce gestures. 2. THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN EMOTION REGULATION AND EPISODIC MEMORY FROM A DEVELOPMENTAL PERSPECTIVE: A SYSTEMATIC LITERATURE REVIEW
Magister-uppsats, Umeå universitet/Institutionen för psykologiSammanfattning : Abstract The relationship between emotion and memory has been the subject of several fascinating investigations for decades now. From a developmental perspective, research has demonstrated that episodic/autobiographical memories improve in typically developing children from an early age through adulthood. LÄS MER
4. An Exploration of Temporal Context in the Recollection of Previously Encoded Events
Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Institutionen för psykologiSammanfattning : The effect of temporal context in the encoding and retrieval of facial stimuli was examined based on behavioural and EEG data collection during a cued recall memory task. Participants were found to have greater accuracy in their recollection of serial list items encoded before a correctly retrieved facial stimulus in comparison to those encoded after a correctly retrieved facial stimulus. 5. Statistical and machine learning methods for classification of episodic memory
Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Matematisk statistikSammanfattning : Multiple modern methods of statistical feature extraction and machine learning are applied to classification of encoding and retrieval of episodic memories us- ing electroencephalogram (EEG) recordings. Raw data, different time-frequency methods, and multiclass common spatial patterns are used for statistical feature ex- traction. LÄS MER
