  1. 1. Credit Card Transaction Fraud Detection Using Neural Network Classifiers

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Författare :Ehsan Nazeriha; [2023]
    Nyckelord :GAN; Deep Learning; Variational Autoencoder; Anomaly Detection; SMOTE; GAN; Djupinlärning; Variational Autoencoder; Anomali detektering; SMOTE;

    Sammanfattning : With increasing usage of credit card payments, credit card fraud has also been increasing. Therefore a fast and accurate fraud detection system is vital for the banks. To solve the problem of fraud detection, different machine learning classifiers have been designed and trained on a credit card transaction dataset. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : The Riksbank is currently investigating the possibility of producing a Central Bank Digital Currency in Sweden, called “e-krona”, implemented through an “e-krona network” on a platform based on Distributed Ledger Technology. By applying the methodology of legal dogmatics, legal informatics, and a legal policy perspective, this thesis examines and analyses some of the fundamental differences in Sweden’s current payment system for transactions at the point of sale, comparing debit card-based transactions with payments using the model of the Riksbank’s e-krona pilot. 4. 4. On the Viability of Digital Cash in Offline Payments

    Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Blekinge Tekniska Högskola/Institutionen för datavetenskap

    Författare :Joakim Holgersson; John Enarsson; [2022]
    Nyckelord :Digital cash; offline payments; anonymous payments; digital coin; electronic coin ; Digitala kontanter; offlinebetalningar; anonyma betalningar; digitala mynt; elektroniska mynt;

    Sammanfattning : Background. As the financial systems around the world become more digitized with the use of a card and mobile payments - we see a decrease in willingness to accept cash payments in many countries. These digital payments require a stable network connection to be processed in real-time. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Prediction of Short-term Default Probability of Credit Card Invoices Using Behavioural Data

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Matematisk statistik

    Författare :Billy Lu; [2022]
    Nyckelord :Probability of Default; Credit Risk; Short-term Default Prediction; Machine Learning; Gradient Boosting; Thresholding; Sannolikheten för Fallissemang; Kreditrisk; Kortsiktig Fallissemang Prediktion; Maskininlärning; Gradientförstärkning; Tröskling;

    Sammanfattning : Probability of Default (PD) is a standard metric to model and monitor credit risk, a major risk facing financial institutions. Traditional PD models are used to forecast risk levels in the long-term, while short-term PD predictions are rarer, but they can support management decisions on an operational level. LÄS MER
