    Sammanfattning : This study aims to provide further knowledge on the social interaction between the sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression (SOGIE) asylum seekers and their asylum adjudicator from the Swedish Migration Agency (SMA) by applicating Erving Goffman’s (2014) dramaturgical perspective. The study used the following two research questions; (1) How can the asylum seeker use different types of perception guiding techniques according to their professional network to create a credible performance under the asylum investigation?, and (2) What kind of performance disturbances can occur between the asylum seeker and their adjudicator according to their professional network?.     Sammanfattning : The aim of this study was to, through an analyze of court orders, gain a more profound understanding of how the Swedish Migration Courts argue and relate to credibility and reliability in the decision assessment for asylum-seeking LGBTQ people. The court orders used in the study was all rejected by the Swedish Migration Court and appealed to the Swedish Migration Supreme Court. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : The purpose of this study was to gain a deeper understanding of how Swedish Migration agency and Swedish Migration courts reasoned regarding sexuality, gender identity and persecution within the home country in asylum assessments of LGBTQ+ people through a qualitative analysis of court decisions. Within this study fifteen court decisions have been analysed, all of which judgments relied on grounds of protection against persecution because of sexual orientation or gender identity. LÄS MER
